The Proposal
We had been sightseeing all day, when Jason mentioned we should go back to the
Eiffel Tower to see it one more time. When we walked up to it, Jason walked
past it to the large park area behind it where we stopped at a park bench lined
up along the walkway. He told me that he needed to get something out of the
book bag I was carrying on my back. When I turned to see what he was looking
for, he pulled out a small poem with a box. He started to pace as his face
started turning every shade of white. I knew then something good was going to
happen! He sat me down on the bench and began reading this poem he had written
for me. I began to cry as he ended the poem with “Will you marry me?” Of course
I said yes! I almost wanted to pinch myself to make sure it was all really
happening. Jason’s plan was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t have asked for
anything more. It is the happiest day of my life.
